Storyline:

Okabe Rintarou an extraordinary mad scientist create incredible futuristic gadget. His lab members are Daru(橋田・ダル・至) a super hacker and his childhood friend Mayuri(椎名 まゆり). Together they build unconventional gadgets. An interesting invention they made was a phone microwave that turns banana into a green jelly. However they discover that it can send text message to the past and it affects the future. Let's all watch how he will be able to handle all unforseen consequences that he had made.

Story:

The story about time travel is exceptionally well done, it start off slowly and increase it pace in every single episode. The story starts with a nice group of trio which was led by Hououin Kyoma also know as Okabe Rintarou(岡部 倫太郎). As the story progress they gain new members and they get deeper and deeper in creating a functional time machine. The story was intriguing, and as I watch it became interesting. Some part where off the hook, I actually did not understand. But as it progress the intellectual plots fill the holes of the story which I don't understand and it became perfectly clear. I kept watching and I was amazed it is truly a great master piece. This is a must watch anime.

Art and Animation:

The art throughout the anime is great, it was an atmospheric and artistic art. It is less flashy but is it quite nice. The special effects was awesome even it is really tight budget anime.

Sound:

It has a nice opening and the voice acting was awesome. I like the quiet moments it gives the serious and thinking effect which made a nice contrast of mood. I also love Sky Clad no Kansokusha (スカイクラッドの観測者)" by Kanako Itou(伊東 叶歌) in episode 23 ending. Overall it was great.

Enjoyment:

I have never enjoyed a series likes Steins;Gate. I enjoy it from beginning to till the end. This is one extraordinary anime to watch. I also enjoyed the intellectual plot it so amazing.

Characters:

Okabe Rintarou(岡部 倫太郎)

    A self-proclaimed mad scientist and also known as Hououin Kyouma  (鳳凰院 凶真). He is the founder of the "Future Gadget Laboratory" (未来ガジェット研究所). He is Lab Member 001 and is also called Okarin by Mayuri. He is 18 year old and He loves Dr. Pepper. He is a first year in Tokyo Denki University.

Kurisu Makise (牧瀬 紅莉栖) 

Voiced by: Asami Imai (今井 麻美)

  

    Okabe Rintarou always refers her as an agent of an organization and is frequently called as assistant(助手), Christina(クリスティーナ), experiment-loving perverted girl "Pervert" for short and "The Zombie". She is 18 years old and is very talented student. She doesn't get along with his father. She doesn't believe in time travel and she is Lab Member 004.

  

Mayuri Shiina (椎名 まゆり) 

Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa (花澤 香菜)

  
    Mayuri Shiina is a childhood friend of Okabe Rintarou. She loves cosplay and her part-time job is working in a made cafe. She is oftenly called as Mayushii(花澤 香菜). She is also known as Okabe Rintarou's hostage. She is 16 years old and she is Lab Member 002.
  

Itaru "Daru" Hashida (橋田・ダル・至) 

Voiced by: Tomokazu Seki (関 智)

  

    Itaru Hashida is 19 years old and he is Lab Member 003. He is a very skilled hacker. He is good in computer programming. He is also known as Daru. He is oftenly called Super Haker(スーパーハカー) by Rintarou. He loves to play Rai-Net Access Battlers and He is also a fan of Faris Nyannyan(フェイリス・ニャンニャン).

Moeka Kiryuu (桐生 萌郁) 

 Voiced by: Saori Gotō (後藤 沙緒里)

  

    Moeka Kiryū she also known as Shining Finger (閃光の指圧師（シャイニング・フィンガー). She loves to take picture. Her ways of communication is Texting rather than talking. She is Lab Member 005.

  

Ruka Urushibara (漆原 るか) 

Voiced by: Yū Kobayashi (小林 ゆう)

  

    Ruka Urushibara is a male friend of Rintarou. He may look like a female but she is actually a male. He is 17 years old and a student of Okabe Rintarou in exorcism. He is Lab Member 006.

Faris Nyannyan (フェイリス・ニャンニャン) / Rumiho Akiha (秋葉 留未穂) 

Voiced by: Haruko Momoi (桃井 はるこ)

  

    Faris Nyannyan is the owner of the maid cafe named "Mayqueen Nyannyan". Her real name is Rumiho Akiha and she is 17 years old. She had introduce MOE and anime in the city. He is a great player in Rai-Net Access Battlers. She is Lab Member 007.

  

Suzuha Amane (阿万音 鈴羽) 

 Voiced by: Yukari Tamura (田村 ゆかり)

  

    Suzuha Amane works part-time for Mr Braun, Okabe Rintarou's landlord. She loves bicycle and very odd with Makise Kurisu for some reason. She is in search for his father, however his only clue is a pin left by his father. She is 18 years old and She is Lab Member 008.

Yūgo Tennōji (天王寺 裕吾 Tennōji Yūgo) 

Voiced by: Masaki Terasoma (てらそま まさき（寺杣 昌紀)

  

    He is also known as "Mr. Braun". Okabe Rintarou's Landlord which a TV repair store. He always charge Rintarou with additional fee in his apartment.

Nae Tennōji (天王寺 綯 Tennōji Nae)

Voiced by: Ayano Yamamoto (山本彩乃)

  

    Mr Braun's daughter and she is a friend of Shiina Mayuri(椎名 まゆり).

Overall:

I love this anime because it incorporate different aspects like comedy, drama, and thrill. It makes you laugh and shed tears and it leaves and strong memory. Never think twice in watching this anime. I highly recommend this. ^_^
